Mnemosyne
a KM solution for law firms and legal departments
Mnemosyne
is an integrated solution, supported by innovative editing tools, for
organizing, sharing and retrieving legal documents and for creating new documents.
Knowledge sharing environment - Knowledge Map
Mnemosyne supports archiving of documents in electronic formats
(pdf, word, image, video …) as well as links to external material
(urls, links to documents available on the web), classifying them
against a knowledge map,
making retrieval and sharing easier.

Archived material may be enriched by adding annotations, and
document specific attributes (for contracts, acts, opinions, ..). Each
document
may be classified in one or more categories in the knowledge map.
Users interact with the system through a powerful and user friendly
interface, supported by advanced
full text search capabilities.
Mnemosyne is a complete solution for managing knowledge assets. Besides
enabling the organisation of explicit
knowledge, documents, annotations and relations between
documents,
Mnemosyne consolidates implicit knowledge,
derived by analysis of the changes made by people and its usage
patterns.
Mnemosyne monitors the interactions of the users with the system,
seamlessly collecting information about competence areas, shared
documents and specific interests.
This enables user profiling, the identification of interest groups
and focusing searches. Registered users may also subscribe to real time
content updates about categories relevant for them, which may be
organised using their favorite
‘aggregators’.
Support to legal documents drafting -
Document Assembly
Mnemosyne is seamlessly integrated with tools from Exari,
supporting the creation and maintenance of precedents
starting from a library of annotated clauses.
A specialised editor is used to define the logic that drive the
drafting of legal documents,
enabling the insertion of conditional clauses, alternatives, notes.
Based on expicit knowledge encoded in precedents, Mnemosyne automatically generates a
virtual interview, collecting all the relevant information
from the case at hand and enabling the Lawyer to quickly build the specific
document matching
his needs.
